Mo' Muscle Records & Entertainment (MMRE), Sista Monica (recording artist) is committed to providing our clients and patrons with a professional, unique and exciting performance. In order to achieve the standards we have established for performance, the following terms and conditions or deviations to the terms and conditions must be satisfied and agreed upon prior to performance.
1.0 General Terms and Conditions
1.1 A minimum period of 2.5 hrs. is required prior to performance for setup, sound system evaluation and sound check. A line check is preferred in a nightclub setting where the house engineer knows the room. Load in, sound check and performance times are to appear in the contract and are to be agreed upon by MMRE and the client. If contracting with a sound company, the sound company shall be set up and ready to go when SMB personnel arrive for sound check.
1.2 Clients providing a sound system are requested to comply with, sound system requirements section 4.0 and submit a list of equipment to be provided by the contracted sound company.
1.3 No video cameras or audio recordings allowed unless pre-approved with a written authorization signed by artist and/or artist management. Still photos okay with a card of photographers to artist for post event purposes.
1.4 Rooms: Six (6) or seven (7) singles (All non-smoking rooms). In a 4 or 5 five ***/* hotel (No motels/lodges or cabins without discussion with the artist and /or artist management) No lodges! No motels please!
1.5 A deposit and contract is required immediately to hold dates.
1.6 Food & Beverages: IMPORTANT
Please serve hot baked, roasted or grilled chicken or salmon with vegetables, salad, hot orange tea, non-alcoholic beer, 12 bottled waters (preferably Aquafina, Crystal Geyser) and dessert for the band. No EVIAN water. Sista Monica Parker maintains a healthy diet. No pizzas, sweets or junk foods.
1.7 Ground & Air Transportation:
Sista Monica and band are International touring artists and require that promoters and/or corporate event planners provide air and ground transportation to and from the venue to the hotel and back to the airport. It is Important that you check for tour routing. In the event she and band might be in your area during the time of festival or event.
ALL AIR TRAVEL PLANS MUST TO APRROVED BEFORE PURCHASE TO AVOID MISCOMMUNICATIONS AND SCHEDULE CHANGES.
The following requirements are minimum requirements and must be satisfied to ensure safe and comfortable preparedness for performance.
2.0 Electrical
Stage power -115VAC, 1-20 ampere (min), 8 - 3 wire circuits, with stage left, center stage and stage right access shall be provided by venue.
2.1 Sound system power -115VAC, 2-20 ampere (min), 8 - 3 wire circuits on the same leg , at mix location and stage area or AC extension from outlet to mix location shall be provided by venue.
2.2Circuits for stage and sound system power must be adequately isolated from all fluorescent, neon and halogen lighting as well as refrigeration circuitry.
2.3 Stage lighting requires a separate circuit from stage and sound power as well. Consultation with contracted lighting company to determine their interface requirements with venue is required prior to performance.
3.0 Staging
3.1 The stage shall be a minimum of 20' by 16' in size. If stage is portable or in sections, all sections must be secured together and leveled. Stairs shall be provided on both sides of the stage for access by the performers and crew.
3.2 A 6'x 6' 12"- 18" high, sturdy drum riser fitted with a carpet shall be provided.
3.3 Front of house speakers if not flown are to be located off of the stage on a separate platform of appropriate height to ensure good coverage and fidelity but placed in a manner that will not obstruct the view of the audience.
4.0 Audio
4.1 Front of House Console32x8x2 professional quality console w/2 sections of parametric EQ high and low shelving, hi pass filter, mute and PFL, 4 pre fade *, 4 post fade aux sends and output matrix is required.
If multiple acts are present and SMB is the principle performer, 16 channels are to be dedicated to SMB after sound check.
*If stage mix is available pre-fade aux send requirement is not needed. On stage mix required for venues with greater than 500 capacity.
4.2 Processing FOH High quality stereo 1/3 octave EQ for mains, 4-1/3 octave EQ for monitors if on stage monitor mix is unavailable.
6 compressors with variable ratio, threshold, attack and release controls. Alesis devices are undesirable.
4 high quality gates.
2 high quality reverb units.
1 high quality digital delay.
4.3 Main Speakers
High output, full bandwidth, stereo, 3-4 way active crossover system, consisting of direct radiating subwoofer, bass, mid and high frequency components. A matrix center cluster is required if proscenium area is over 40' wide. Array systems i.e., EAW KF Series, Meyer MSL-3/5A w/ RS650 SUBS or Meyer powered systems, JBL Array Series, Nexo or Mackie powered systems are preferred. Folded horn loaded systems are undesirable. Mono systems are acceptable depending on the venue if pre-approved. System size shall be appropriate for providing proper coverage. Delay towers are required if venue is longer than 100'. 4.4 Stage Monitor Console
24x8 discreet mixing console w/parametric eq, pfl and mute.
4.5 Monitor
Processing- High quality 1/3 octave eq per mix, 8 compressors. 4 gates.
4.6 Stage Monitors
10 high quality floor wedges with 15" woofers and 2" hi-compression drivers are required. Seven (7) mixes are required for discreet stage mix. Bi-amplified monitors are preferred.
5.0 Lighting
5.1 Operator
1-lighting technician w/good sense of time, color and humor.
5.2 Console
32 channel 4 scene X fade w/ audio input, chase, flash and blackout.
5.3 Side Washes
12-300W lamps per side.
5.4 Rear Track
6-300W lamps, 1-special.
5.5 Front Track
12-300W lamps, 6 specials.
1-Follow Spot w/operator.
6.0 Communications
Clearcom between FOH, monitor desk, lights and backstage.
7.0 Backline
Backline equipment is to be provided by the venue or promoter at their expense unless otherwise negotiated and agreed upon by MMRE.The following equipment is desired for performance. Please contact MMRE personnel if there is a need for substitution.

If any of the terms, conditions or requirements listed above cannot be satisfied, prior notice is requested so that alternatives can be negotiated and there are no surprises. The omission of any of the above requirements can severely hamper our ability to produce the quality of performance we enjoy providing and is in violation of a contractual agreement.
