Sista Monica @ Moes Alley Blues Club 2-28-09

Sista Monica performs at Moes Alley Blues Club in Santa Cruz, CA February 28, 2009 with her blues festival band. Danny B on piano and organ, Don Caruth on lead guitar, Mike Schermer on lead and rhythm guitar, Chris Aiken on bass, Garty Regina on tenor sax, Teresa and Harlan on background vocals and Sista Monica leading the songs. She sings originals "The Sista Don't Play", "I Don't Want To Hurt Your Baby", "I Been Bamboozled", "Put It In The Crock Pot", "Change Gonna Come", "Stop Talking Bout Me Stalking You", "What Difference Does It Make", and many other songs during her two sets. One set was 75 minutes of rocking blues and the other was 90 minutes of a combination of soul & gospel. She belted uptempo soul and chicago style blues, sang ballads, and took 'em home with some good gospel music. The crowd went wild!!!!! What a night!!!!
