Sista Monica & India Arie Concert 7-17-2011
Sista Monica was invited to perform with India Arie and Idan Raichel at the Uptown Theater in Napa, CA on Sunday, July 17, 2011. It was a blast! The band included David Tucker on drums, Don Caruth on guitar, Danny Sandovol on tenor sax and AJ on bass. I pulled from a list of possible songs based upon the crowd and the tone of India's sound check. The set list was "Come To Mama" off The "Soul, Blues & Ballads" cd, two of my originals What Difference Does It Make? and Put It In The Crock Pot from "Can't Keep A Good Woman Down" CD. Then we ended with a celebration of the evening "Glory, Glory Hallelujah!" Oh! What A night!
