Sista Monica Parker has earned a Blues Music Award (BMA) nomination for 2010 as the Best Soul Blues Female Artist The Year Award. This comes on the heels of her 2009 CD release of "Soul Blues & Ballads". The BMA is the Grammy of the blues world.
Sista Monica plans to attend the awards remony May 6, 2010 in Memphis ,TN
