Sista Monica Parker is a powerhouse Soul, Blues and Gospel singer, songwriter, international touring artist, arranger and producer with Mo Muscle Records & Ent. Residing in Santa Cruz, California. Parker hailed from Chicago, Illinois and reflects the singing styles of Oleta Adams, Nina Simone, Etta James and Mavis Staples. Recently she released a new Jazz, Soul and Gospel acoustic sound on her 6th CD "Love, Soul & Spirit" vol. 1.



Sista Monica has written new music on track #5 "All Things Are Possible" and track #6 "Why Did You Leave My Child". She covers some of her favorite standards that offers a softer, gentler, inner peace and transformation.



This CD is rich with songs personally selected and performed by Sista Monica. Inspired by her recent battle with cancer - Synovial Sarcoma and treated at UCSF Medical Center. She survives and is now thriving as she celebrates her transformation and a tribute to the grace of God, the universal power of music that strengthens and enriches our lives.
