This song opens up with the whole band rocking. The horn section is outstanding and dynamic performers. Sista Monica comes on strong tearing up the house. Get ready and move on over as here comes Sista Monica the one and only genuine blues and gospel performer. She will move and groove you all night long. This song is about a man who has a woman on the side of another women. In reality the title of the song tells it all. When you mess around with a man or women's heart some day it is all going to come back to you. When your time comes it will come back in your face double and twice as hard.

You're Only Good For One Thang Baby
This is a sensual song filled with propositions to your lover. It is about a woman whose heart has been broken. The next time she comes around a man, she is just going to use him the way the man uses the women. In reality it is based on the old saying what is good for you is good for me.

A Chance To Breathe
This song Sista Monica comes on sensual and sexy in her vocal performance. This is about a man who spent the family money on playthings. His woman finally has had enough of his wicked ways and throws him out of the house. He keeps coming home too stoned, drunk, and can’t satisfy his wife any longer.

Sista Monica opens up rocking on this song. The horn section is sensational and the background vocalist is dynamite.

This number is in memory of the late Kenny Baker who was a former performer for Legendary John Lee Hooker before he joined up with Sista Monica's band.

Sista Monica spins a web around the listener telling them about a story between man and women. Two couples got together and went out to dinner and the movies. First thing you know the guy is coming on to the other women. And the other woman starts flirting back. First thing you know they both go out and get together. In the end the physical love was no guaranteed. The two have regrets and blame the other for the cause of their own actions. Each lost their loved ones. The moral of the story here is “it don’t pay to cheat.

It's Not What You Say (It's What You Do)
Sista Monica belts out in vocals you say you love me baby’ you say I’m your queen’ you can say all the right things, but you don’t know what they mean. This is about a man who just uses words in vain and really never means half of what he says to his women. This man is filled with deceitful lies to his women. The woman finally gets smart enough to dump him, as he is nothing but a cheating heart.

It's A Shame, It's A Mystery
This song is about a woman who lies at night thinking about the man she loves.

Somebody Gonna Give Up Something Tonight
Sista Monica and her band open up rocking on this number. The horn section is all multi-talented performers. This is an up-tempo number and the lead-guitarist rips out some outstanding blues chords. The pianist is playing up and down the keyboard demonstrating strong talent. This is an exceptional number on the CD release meriting praise.

Ken "Big Papa" Baker Blows #2
This is another number in memory of Kenny "Ken" Baker on the CD release. Ken was such a dynamic and strong Saxophone player throughout his years as a musician. He is greatly missed by the blues world, his friends, and family.

Other songs released such as People Love The Blues, The Walking Wounded, Put Your Shoe On The Other Foot and Walk Around Heaven All Day are other exceptional examples of Sista Monica's songs released on the CD which you won't want to miss hearing.
